Join Troop’s 160/7160 for a little kayak instruction and then a game of Boat Ball!
You ask what boat ball is?! its like water polo but with kayaks! We will meet at Munroe Falls lake at 6pm, get there a little earlier if possible, if you have your own kayak or paddle boat or have one someone else can borrow please bring it. All kids must wear pfds (life jackets)!
Kayaking Basics Instruction will Include.
On Land
Type's of Kayaks and Paddle Boards, Types of Paddles, Types of PFD's, Safety Equipment, Float Plan, and Wet Exit
On the Water
Hand and whistle Commands, Strokes, Sweeps, Bracing, Wet Exit and Reentry
Then Play Boat Ball!
We will park, load and unload our kayaks by the public boat launch, see that attached Map!
